Brent also has deep technology adoption experience as an executive and co-owner of a 45-year-old company with operations in Canada, the United States, and Australia. Over a five-year period, he oversaw the company’s technology development and operations, including work that used AI. The platform was high-volume, sophisticated, and operated in a heavily regulated industry, with SOC 2 compliance requirements. That technology transformation was complex and successful, and Brent’s experience with best practices is directly relevant to owner-managed companies as they embrace and adopt AI.

Brent holds an MBA and the ICD.D designation, is a director of a venture capital fund, and is the author of multiple books.
